Role Overview:

TherapyMantra is currently seeking qualified EAP Counselors to provide short-term counseling, workplace wellbeing support and solution-focused interventions through our secure telehealth platform.

This role is ideal for mental health professionals who enjoy helping individuals navigate workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, relationship concerns, emotional challenges and life events that may affect personal and professional wellbeing.

You will work directly with employees seeking confidential support while helping them develop practical coping strategies and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

As an EAP Counselor, you will:

• Conduct confidential employee counseling sessions through secure virtual consultations.
• Assess emotional, behavioral and workplace-related concerns.
• Provide short-term counseling and solution-focused interventions.
• Support employees experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, workplace conflict, grief, relationship challenges and work-life balance concerns.
• Assist individuals in developing healthy coping strategies and resilience.
• Make referrals to specialized services when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
• Deliver culturally sensitive and client-centered support.
• Uphold professional and ethical counseling standards.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, applicants should possess:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health or a related field.
• Active professional license, registration, accreditation, certification or membership recognized within their jurisdiction.
• Minimum 6 months of counseling or clinical experience.
• Strong communication, assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting workplace mental health and employee wellbeing is preferred.
• Knowledge of brief intervention and solution-focused counseling approaches.
• Experience providing telehealth services is an advantage.
• Reliable internet connection and professional remote-working environment.
