Role Overview:

TherapyMantra is seeking qualified private practice psychiatrists to provide virtual psychiatric services through our secure telepsychiatry platform. You will conduct psychiatric assessments, establish diagnoses, prescribe and manage medications, develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care to patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. This opportunity is ideal for psychiatrists who value professional independence, flexible scheduling and the ability to expand their practice through telehealth.

Key Responsibilities:

As a private practice psychiatrist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of mental health conditions.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Conduct medication reviews and follow-up consultations.
• Support patients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders and stress-related conditions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, counselors and healthcare professionals when appropriate.
• Deliver evidence-based psychiatric care through secure telehealth consultations.
• Adhere to professional, ethical and regulatory standards within your jurisdiction.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, applicants should possess:

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, DO or equivalent).
• Completed residency, specialization or postgraduate training in psychiatry.
• Active psychiatrist license, registration, certification or equivalent credential recognized within the applicant’s jurisdiction.
• Minimum 6 months of clinical psychiatric experience.
• Experience in private practice, outpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry or behavioral healthcare settings is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, assessment and medication management skills.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities.
• Reliable internet connection and professional remote-working environment.
