Role Overview:

TherapyMantra is seeking compassionate and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselors to provide virtual counseling services through our secure telehealth platform.

This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy helping clients overcome emotional and psychological difficulties while supporting positive behavioral change and personal development.

You will work with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relationship challenges and workplace difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake evaluations.
• Provide individual counseling sessions through secure online consultations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.
• Support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship concerns and emotional challenges.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, confidential and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists and other healthcare professionals when clinically necessary.
• Deliver ethical, culturally responsive and client-centered care.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, applicants should possess:

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, mental health counseling, social work or a related field.
• Active professional license such as LMHC, LPC, LPCC, LCPC or equivalent recognized within the applicant’s jurisdiction.
• Minimum 6 months of counseling or clinical experience.
• Strong assessment, communication and therapeutic relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling interventions.
• Experience providing telehealth services is preferred.
• Reliable internet connection and professional remote-working environment.
